Types of Zakat We Collect

Zakat Al-Mal

Zakat Al-Mal is the annual obligatory charity paid on accumulated wealth and savings that meet the Nisab threshold. Zakat Al-Mal is 2.5% of the qualified amount and is used to support families living in poverty, orphans, widows, refugees, and individuals facing financial hardship.

Zakat Al-Fitr

Zakat Al-Fitr is a charitable donation given before the Eid prayer at the end of Ramadan. The amount of Zakat Al-Fitr is determined based on the inflation rate and cost of staple food items at the time it becomes due, helping ensure that struggling families can enjoy Eid with dignity and access to essential food and support.
